See the World Differently & Your World Will Change

Have you ever felt stuck in a loop—replaying the same frustrations, reliving the same disappointments, and wondering why nothing seems to change? Here’s the truth: the way you see the world is shaping your experience of it.

But what if you could change how you see it?

A simple lesson from A Course in Miracles (ACIM) offers a powerful key to transforming your reality:

“There is another way of looking at the world.”

This isn’t just a nice idea—it’s a radical call to reframe the way you interpret your experiences. Every challenge, every frustration, every unsettling moment is an invitation to pause and ask yourself:

How can I see this differently?

This one shift can rewire your brain, reshape your beliefs, and unlock what feels like miracles in your life. And while it’s simple in theory, changing your perspective takes practice. Over the years, I’ve discovered three powerful techniques that make this shift easier and more effective—each rooted in science, psychology, and spiritual wisdom.

Technique #1: Selective Attention

Your attention is a magnet for your energy. Consciously focusing on what you want to expand—while ignoring what doesn’t serve you—literally rewires your brain. When you stop retelling your old stories of struggle or lack and start speaking about your dreams, desires, and goals, your mind begins to create new, healthier pathways.

Technique #2:  Shadow Work

Carl Jung introduced the idea of the shadow—the parts of yourself you disown and project onto others. If you’ve ever thought, “Why can’t they just get it together?” it’s worth asking: what trait in me am I projecting out there?

One of my most powerful shifts came when I realized I’d been placing my hopes for “financial rescue” onto others, refusing to acknowledge my own power. Taking back those projections—seeing them as parts of me—was transformative.

When you embrace your shadow, you stop being controlled by what you reject in yourself and start stepping into the truth of who you are.

Technique #3: The Therapeutic Value of Fear

ACIM describes fear as a teacher, not an enemy:

“Fear is aroused only to bring the need for correction forcibly into awareness.”

In other words, fear isn’t there to stop you—it’s there to wake you up. Often, fear is your ego’s voice trying to keep you in your comfort zone. But when you tune into your Soul instead, fear becomes an ally, pointing you toward growth and alignment.

Seeing the World Differently Changes Everything

When I began practicing these techniques, I noticed my life shifting in ways that felt nothing short of miraculous. The same situations that once caused stress and frustration now felt lighter—almost easy.

If you’re ready for a change, start small. The next time you’re upset, pause and ask yourself: What if there’s another way to see this?

I’d love to hear your experiences with reframing and shifting your perspective. Have you tried this before? What worked for you? Leave me a comment below.

I’m usually open towards most people, but I didn’t like someone in one of my language proficiency classes. He was unapologetically flamboyant. Super energetic to the point of being exhausting and I prayed he wouldn’t sit next to me. He said he couldn’t eat anything red, because it sets off his hyperactivity. The idea of seeing him more hyper scared me! Apparently he had a naked statue of himself inside his house!

Even though I’m calm and more on the introvert side, I think there was something wild about him that brought me out of my shell 🐚 Turns out he used to be an extremely famous performer with a scandalous past and is worth a fortune! What I found adorable is that he secretly likes spending his time taking certifications…..?
